The manifestation Language Institute Days 2019, this year, as usually, officially begins on February 21, on the International Day of Mother tongue. This year, associates of the Institute held a series of lectures in primary and secondary schools in Sarajevo Canton. Haris Ćatović, MA, senior assistant, gave a lecture to students of the 6th, the 7th and the 8th grade in the Elementary school “Alija Nametak” on the topic: Traces of Antiquity – the continuity of literacy in the Bosnian language. The lecture was attended by professors of Bosnian language and literature Aida Fejzagić, Nejra Sahačić-Topalović and Ena Tursum. After the lecture, students were asked questions about the topic of todayʼs lecture, after which two students were given the Grammar of the Bosnian language. The team of the Bosnian language teachers expressed satisfaction and readiness for conducting similar projects in the future.
