Within the manifestation Language Institute Days, at the Faculty of Humanities of the University “Džemal Bijedić” in Mostar a Professional Conference “Bosnian Language and Media” was held on March 18, 2019. The conference was attended by deans and faculty professors from Mostar University, students from the Department of Bosnian Language and Literature and Communication. Elvira Dilberović, Minister of the Federal Ministry of Education and Science, also visited the conference. The conference was about the historical position of the Bosnian language, its codification and the position of the Bosnian language in the media and the way the media influence the language. The speakers were dr. Alen Kalajdžija, dr. Jasmin Hodžić, dr. Sanja Merzić and mr. Elmira Resić, and the conference was moderated by Amna Mehmedović, senior assistant at the Faculty of Humanities, Department of Communication Studies.
