All of us are touched by the news about the death of prof. Smajlović. He was an extraordinary Man, one of the most significant Bosnian-Herzegovinian linguists, and Profesor's works are capital in the field of Bosnian philology and linguistics.
We are happy that we were his contemporaries, we were his students and associates, and we are sad that, as we usually do, we have not used enough time while he was among us.
Thanks to prof. Smajlović also, the Language Institute has laid a solid foundation for future generations!
We express our sincere condolences to the families, and we want our dear professor Ismet Smajlović to gain everything good in the Better world!
