[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]The Faculty of Humanities of the University “Džemal Bijedić” in Mostar continues with the tradition of scientific conferences on the famous Bosnian writers every two years, from the last time in cooperation with the Institute for Language. Last (2016) year was dedicated to Hamza Humo. The Proceedings book brings 10 texts of literature and 7 of the language. The authors are literary theorists and linguists from all over Bosnia and Herzegovina, and the themes are divers – from Humo's place in Bosnian-Herzegovinian and Bosniak literature, through the thematisation of certain aspects of some parts of the Humo's opus, such as laughter and giggles, nature and people, folk literature, body figures, avant-gardism, mysticism and contrast, in works of literature. From the linguistic aspect, the language of Hamza Hume was analyzed on all three grammatical levels, then through dialectisms, orientalisms and expressives, syntax homonymy, author's phrases and epithets. This Proceedings are a valuable contribution to the lighting of the language and style of yet another Bosnian writer.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
