Promotion of the Institute’s editions, Bosniak Institute, Sarajevo, March 10, 2021.
As part of the Days of the Language Institute 2021 event, a promotion of the 2020 Institute’s edition was held on Wednesday, March 10, at the Bosniak Institute in Sarajevo. The works Jezičke odlike u djelu Edhema Mulabdića (Linguistic Features in the work of Edhem Mulabdić) by Vedad Mulavdić, Bosanski akcenatski priručnik (the Bosnian Accent Manual) by Jasmin Hodžić, Aida Kršo and Haris Ćatović and the 31st issue of the scientific journal Književni jezik were promoted.
The monographic work Jezičke odlike u djelu Edhema Mulabdića, published in the edition Radovi (Works), was promoted by dr. sc. Edim Šator, assistant professor and Dean of the Faculty of Humanities of University“Džemal Bijedić” in Mostar. He emphasized the place and significance of this work in the context of the Institute’s long-term project The Language of Bosnian Writers of the 19th and 20th Centuries, and its inevitability in future research into both the language of Edhem Mulabdić and the Bosnian language of the Austro-Hungarian period.
Bosanski akcenatski priručnik was presented and discussed by Dr. sc. Sead Nazibegović, associate professor at the Faculty of Philosophy, University of Tuzla, emphasizing that this is a manual that has already found its place in teaching practice and which has been long awaited.
The new, 31st issue of the scientific journal Književni jezik was presented by mr. sc. Aida Kršo, research assistant of the Language Institute of the University of Sarajevo. She conducted the audience through its rich content and also was the moderator at this promotion.
The promotion was held in accordance with current epidemiological measures, and given the limited number of visitors in the hall, it was broadcast live on the Facebook page of the Institute.
