As part of the project Promotion of editions, the Promotion of two books by prof. dr. Vedad Smailagić from the Faculty of Philosophy in Sarajevo was held on Thuesday, December 12, 2019, on the Faculty of Philosophy in Sarajevo, organized by Language Institute of University of Sarajevo. These are the books „Otkrivanje teksta. Prilozi semiotici kulture“ (Text Revealing. Contributions to the Semiotics of Culture) and „Uvod u tekstnu lingvistiku“ (Introduction to Textual Linguistics). First, prof. dr. Almir Bašović from the Faculty of Philosophy in Sarajevo was spoken about the book „Otkrivanje teksta“. He dedicated his presentation to important parts of the content of the book, emphasizing the importance of the book through them. Prof. dr. Amela Šehović, also from the Faculty of Philosophy, University of Sarajevo, also a book reviewer, was spoken about the same book from the aspect of the form, of course with examples and her own remarks. The book „Uvod u tekstnu lingvistiku“ was presented by mr. sc. Zenaida Karavdić from the Language Institute of the University of Sarajevo, who was also the moderator of the Promotion. Finally, the author, prof. dr. Vedad Smailagić, thanked all those who helped to publish this book, and the Institute for Language as a publisher or co-publisher. We thank the media and all those who attended the event.
