Public lecture Bosanski jezik i kultura – Split, March 22, 2018
The Council of the Bosniak National Minority of the City of Zagreb, in cooperation with the Council of the Bosniak National Minority of the City of Split, with the support of the Language Institute of the University of Sarajevo, planned public lectures on Bosnian language and culture in several cities in Croatia. The aim of these lectures is to inform citizens originating from Bosnia and Herzegovina about the importance of organizing the teaching of the Bosnian language as C courses in elementary and secondary schools and to motivate them to organize and participate in this teaching. First Public lecture Bosnian language and culture was held in Split, on March 22, 2018. The active participation of representative of the City of Split and the Split-Dalmatia County Mr. Slavko Žaja, advisor to the Mayor for Education and Science, contributed the success of Lecture. The journalists of the Croatian Radio and Television were following the Lecture, and before the beginning, they recorded the statements of the representatives of the Language Institute, as well as the representatives of the Council of the Bosniak National Minority of the City of Split, and we sincerely thank them. Information on this lecture will be broadcast in the “Prizma” show.
